Yin Yoga with Tibetan bowls and sound meditation in the energy of the new moon

The cycles of the Moon, the changing seasons, the transition of days – everything in nature tells us that light and dark are transitory. No state is permanent. Everything comes and goes. We could not discern day and light if there were no night and darkness. The new moon is a special moment in this cycle – a time of silence, a pause between the end and the new beginning. This practice is an invitation for a brief moment of reflection. A moment to turn inward and honestly look. Quieting, we find resilience in constant change. Through slow, deep holds in yin yoga and healing vibrational musical instruments we will explore the eternal dance between light and darkness within ourselves. We will immerse ourselves in the conscious and the unconscious, the visible and the hidden, and we will sense where our personal balance point lies. From the activity of the day we will move into the stillness of the body, surrendering to the healing rhythm and harmonizing vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls, bells, tingsha, French koshi, rain, and other instruments.
