Spinning is a high-intensity cardio workout on a stationary bike, conducted in a group under the supervision of an instructor. By imitating cycling with different intensity (flat terrain, hills, sprints), it trains the lower body, improves cardio endurance and tones the body, without building muscle mass. To also work the upper body, dumbbells, small/large resistance bands, discs, etc. are often included.
