Spinning with Nikos
Spinning is a high-intensity cardio workout on a stationary bike, conducted in a group under the guidance of an instructor. By simulating cycling at varying intensities (flat terrain, hills, sprints), it trains the lower body, improves cardio endurance and tones the body without building muscle mass. For work on the upper body, dumbbells, small/large resistance bands, discs, and other equipment are often used. Key features of the spinning workout: - Structure - starts with a warm-up, moves through a main section with varying load (speed and resistance), and ends with relaxation/stretching. - Intensity - can be adapted for beginners as well as advanced, maintaining a heart rate within 60-90% of the maximum. - Benefits - effectively burns fat, protects joints, increases endurance and tones the muscles of the legs, buttocks, and abdomen. - Atmosphere - conducted with energetic music and often with special lighting for higher motivation. And the best part - in an hour you will burn 500-700 kcal :) And if you are visiting a spinning class for the first time, please visit the link below for more information: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=122109937532623940&set=pb.61568718224464.-2207520000&type=3
